ABOUT OBSERVE MEDIA

The Story

Behind Observe.

ORIGIN

Closing

The Gap.

Observe wasn’t built to chase trends. It was built because media itself changed shape — and the old model of a “production company” couldn’t keep up.
Founder Travis Cloyd spent years working across production, technology, and education, watching the same pattern repeat: brands and storytellers wanted to do more than make a video. They wanted to build a world, a moment, an experience people could step into. But the industry was still organized around single-medium specialists — a film house here, an XR studio there, an AI shop somewhere else.

Observe was founded to close that gap: one studio, fluent across every format, so the idea comes first and the medium follows.

Why

Observe

Anticipating the Undercurrent

Before you can build what’s next, you have to see it coming. Observation means paying close attention to culture, human behavior, and the undercurrents of big tech long before they surface in the mainstream.

From Screens to Space

We track the trends shaping spatial computing, immersive hardware, and next-generation consumer devices—mastering the platforms that will carry audiences from traditional flat screens into volumetric space.

The Discipline of Observation

Observation isn’t passive; it’s a rigorous discipline. It means looking to the stars, imagining beyond the immediate, and thinking past the current wave of disruption toward whatever comes after it.

Writing the Future

This is the precise lens we build through. By constantly watching for the next shift, we ensure our clients don’t just react to the future—they help write it.

A Global Bench

of Builders.

Observe is powered by a team built for this exact moment — a mix of in-house creatives and a global network of industry executives, engineers, developers, and specialists brought together around technology and innovation, not job titles. Producers who’ve run traditional film sets sit alongside XR developers, AI specialists, and digital-arts technologists — people who’ve spent careers in physical production and people who’ve spent careers building in the immersive and digital-native world.

That range is the point. Every project pulls from a bench of experts across AI, XR, physical and digital production, traditional and immersive media — assembled around what the work actually needs, not around what one department happens to offer.

Led by founder Travis Cloyd — a producer, entrepreneur, and professor working at the intersection of media, technology, and business — the team shares his instinct for staying ahead of where the industry is headed. It’s a group that thrives on figuring things out together: collaborating across disciplines, challenging convention, and building things that haven’t existed before. That collaborative, disruptive energy is baked into how Observe operates — rigorous enough to deliver at the highest level, curious enough to keep pushing the format forward.

PROCESS

How

We Work.

01

Format-agnostic,
idea-first.

We choose the medium that serves the story, not the other way around. The narrative architecture dictates the spatial execution.

02

Craft meets frontier tech.

We apply traditional, rigorous production discipline and cinematic lighting theory to emerging spatial platforms and digital environments.

03

Built to evolve.

The tools change constantly; our process is designed to absorb that change, not resist it. We maintain an agile operational framework.

04

Every stakeholder, one process

We work fluidly between enterprise and education, between 2D and 3D media, between storytellers and studio executives, bringing everyone into alignment and structuring every deal the right way.
